HISTORIC & COSMOPOLITAN MALAGA

This city has more museums per square kilometre than almost anywhere else in Europe

We offer guides & transfers to these destinations. Please discuss directly with our managers for details, pricing and booking.

What to see in Malaga

Spend a day in this vibrant city where our guide will show you the best of the picturesque Old Town. Every building here is an architectural delight and the streets are filled with quaint cafes, interesting shops, and quirky tapas restaurants.

For art lovers, the birthplace of Picasso is high on the list. Meanwhile, for food aficionados, a visit to the food hall as well as to the El Pimpi, one of the city’s most iconic bars, are musts.

In fact, we like to end our morning tours at El Pimpi so that guests can experience one of the most lively places in the city.

Note: This tour can also be combined with an early morning arrival or a late afternoon departure from Malaga International Airport.

FRIGILIANA & THE COSTA TROPICAL

Explore lovely towns off the tourist grid and enjoy amazing views of the coast

Head towards the sea to visit some of our favorite little towns. Start off with the blue-and-white Frigiliana, the perfect day trip from La Esperanza Granada and chosen as one of the most beautiful towns in Spain.

Then work your way back along the picturesque coast, stopping by the little-known but very picturesque Marina de L’Este and the castle town of Salobrena. The latter has a great seafood restaurant right on the beach.

Before you return, take a short detour to the port town of Motril, which is famous all over Andalucia for a local dessert made with milk and sprinkled with cinnamon.

THE BALCONY OF EUROPE

Nerja is famed for its panoramic viewpoint and for one of the oldest caves in Europe
Nerja

This lovely town of whitewashed houses and low-rise buildings is known also for its wide beaches which are considered among the best along this southern coast of Spain. At the very tip of it too is a promenade that culminates at a panoramic viewpoint called the Balcon de Europa, because you feel like you are seeing the edge of Europe from this angle.

The cafes and shops are also not to be missed, especially if one is keen on looking at local brands rather than at international brands found everywhere.

History enthusiasts must visit the famed Nerva Caves, considered one of the oldest in Europe. These are a series of caverns, with a total of five kilometres in length, and each containing unique rock formations. Here you will also find the largest stalagmite formation in the world, towering 32 meters high.
