DO WE NEED A WEDDING PLANNER?
To ensure your wedding day runs seamlessly, La Esperanza Granada requires couples to work with a professional wedding planner. Your planner will oversee every stage—before, during, and after the celebration—and act as your main point of contact.
If you don’t yet have a planner, we can connect you with trusted professionals. We also collaborate with experienced caterers, florists, and other specialists in Andalucía, helping you create an unforgettable event with ease.
CAN WE BOOK THE PROPERTY ONLY FOR ONE NIGHT?
La Esperanza Granada usually requires a minimum stay of two nights. This ensures enough time for wedding preparations and allows the wedding party to be fully rested before the celebration.
On occasion, and depending on availability, we may accept a one-night booking. A supplemental fee may apply. Please contact us directly to discuss this option.
WHAT VENUES CAN WE USE ON THE PROPERTY?
We offer several beautiful spaces for your wedding and related events. The front gardens and our Alhambra-inspired courtyard are ideal for cocktail receptions.
For wedding lunches or dinners, couples may choose between two settings. The park accommodates up to six tables of ten, while the adjacent outdoor event space can host up to 30 tables of ten. Both venues are conveniently connected to the catering area.
For smaller gatherings, the swimming pool area is perfect for pre- or post-wedding celebrations of up to 40 guests. The surrounding gardens can also welcome larger groups, creating a flexible and elegant backdrop for your event.

WHAT IS THERE FOR GUESTS TO DO BEFORE OR AFTER THE WEDDING?
Our property is perfect for rest and rejuvenation. However, guests can also enjoy visits to Granada, Malaga, the Lecrin Valley and the Alpujarras Mountains and the beautiful towns of the Costa Brava. These are all short drives away and perfect for pleasant day trips.
Those wishing to stay around the area can explore the picturesque towns of Saleres, Restabal, and Melegis. On the property, swimming and hiking can be done in complete privacy. Private guides and tutors for everything from horseback riding to yoga and flamenco lessons can also be arranged.
IS THERE A MANAGER ON-SITE DURING THE WEDDING STAY?
We have a full-time, English-speaking Spanish manager on-site. Together with our team, the manager ensures your wedding guests are comfortable and well cared for, while also respecting their privacy.
All coordination and logistics for the wedding festivities remain the responsibility of your wedding planner. If you do not yet have one, we can introduce you to trusted planners in Andalucía so you may choose the professional best suited to your celebration.
CAN WE PUT UP A STAGE OR A TENT?
It’s possible to set-up both a stage and a tent in our outdoor event venue, which is a tiled area large enough for 30 to 40 tables of 10 persons each. We can work with your wedding planner to create your perfect wedding layout.
ARE THERE ANY SURCHARGES WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
A supplemental fee applies for weddings with more than 200 guests. These fees cover the extra security and cleaning required for large events.
We also charge a fee for any additional event held on the property during your stay if it involves 50 guests or more.
CAN WE BRING IN OUR OWN ALCOHOL?
We offer beer at preferential rates through an exclusive agreement with a leading Spanish brand. Couples may also bring in other wines and spirits, provided they meet specific conditions.
All alcohol must be served by licensed bartenders. You or your wedding planner can discuss the details with us in advance.
CAN WE PLAN OTHER PRE-WEDDING EVENTS AT THE PROPERTY?

Many couples choose to host additional gatherings before the big day. Popular options include cocktail receptions, poolside barbecues, wine dinners, and rehearsal brunches. Your wedding planner can organize these events in coordination with our team.
A minor surcharge applies to pre-wedding events with 50 or more guests. This is separate from the wedding day itself.
